"Wasted Space" is a thought-provoking concept store in Manhattan’s SoHo district where nature reclaims an urban void. Untitled Studio executed all aspects of this project—from the initial concept and programming to the physical build, projection mapping, and lighting design. Employing cutting-edge techniques such as time-based projection mapping, dynamic lighting that shifts between day and night, wind simulation, AI-generated soundscapes, and scent, the space was transformed into a simulated natural landscape. Designed to showcase Candamill's handbags amidst a setting that harmonizes urban and organic elements, "Wasted Space" challenges traditional retail experiences by merging technology, art, and nature.
